Predator Podcast

Predator control is an important strand of the Working for Waders project. We recently interviewed gamekeepers Scott MacKenzie and Bruce Cooper to find out a little more about the management of foxes and crows as part of a wider mix of conservation measures to promote wader breeding success. It was interesting to discuss the differences between Scott’s work on the Isle of Skye and Bruce’s experience in Angus, and the resulting podcast allowed us to explore some often-overlooked aspects of predator control in Scotland.
